(More customer reviews)My son has a disability making it impossible for him to tie his shoes, so I'm always searching for "rip shoes" - what we call the Velcro-closing shoe. They're hard to find in adult sizes! He's able to put these on himself, so it's exactly what we need. I've tried several other brands and many work okay, but I've also had a couple of them where the Velcro just isn't strong enough to withstand some rough pulling, some overuse (obsession with the noise and pull) or even twisting and everyday wear. These shoes are holding up wonderfully, the Velcro is as strong as ever and they still look great.
