(More customer reviews)These are the most comfortable "closed" shoes I own (my Birkenstocks are the most comfortable sandal). The sole is heavily cushioned. I don't know if they tone your muscles as they are supposed to, but I am happy to have a very comfortable walking shoe that looks a little nicer than an athletic shoe. The velcro strap makes them easy to remove in airport security lines, or to loosen as I sit on the plane or while riding in the car. I have Morton's Neuroma and plantar fasc. (sp). I have no pain while wearing these shoes.
