I really do love these boots, overall. They are fashionable, comfortable, and warm. They're my go-to shoes for cold, dry days.
Con:
They CANNOT be made waterproof. We used a suede spray to waterproof the upper, but the sole seems to absorb water and then is very difficult to dry. I do NOT recommend these as "winter workhorse" boots, for playing in the snow, or on wet or snowy days. Back to the drawing board on that front.
Do they help you get into better shape? Who knows? I suspect I get the best fitness results from my exercise classes, not my shoes. But they have the look of a boot and the feel of a sneaker, so I don't mind either way.
