Unlike many flip-flops/thongs, these shoes are cushioned so they don't hurt the space between your big toe and the next toe when you walk in them. I feel like I could walk a good distance in these without discomfort.
The only thing I didn't like is that they aren't really good shoes for wearing in the water. I bought them to take on a deployment as shower shoes, but when you wear them in the water too long, they get really wet and squishy, and cause your feet to get wrinkly.
Other than that, they are great shoes, and I still wear them to and from the bathroom, so I am still getting some use out of them.
