Between walking my 2 dogs (separately, because one dog is older and has disabilities and so cannot walk as far or as well as the other) and my own back and joint stiffness, I need shoes that support my feet and are shock absorbing.
I have purchased Reebok walking shoes for years, due to their good arch support, durability, and they make styles in wide width that actually fit my feet. These shoes fail to deliver what I would expect from a good walking shoe.
Within two weeks of buying and wearing these virtually every day, my feet, ankles, knees and back hurt. The soles are very hard and have little flexibility, as well as the insoles. There is little to no arch support and absolutely no spring in the step while walking--very very stiff shoes.
I had to go back to my Reebok Radia shoes with hexalite ( hexalite being the best thing Reebok has used in years in my opinion) even though they are nearly falling apart, until I can find shoes more suitable to my needs. For the first time in many years, I'm seriously giving other brands a second and third look.
Reebok has done and can do better than this. If you want a good supportive and comfortable walking shoe, stay far away from this one!
