(More customer reviews)I bought my pair on clearance, not expecting a whole lot more than a serviceable sneaker to protect my feet. I was pleasantly surprised once they were broken in.I wear a wide width, and although mine are labeled as "wide", they were distinctly too tight the first several times I wore them. I can happily report, though, that since they have stretched in the areas they needed to, they now fit my feet perfectly, and I can walk in them all day.Used to be my feet would give out first; I'd have to stop walking due to foot pain.Now, I'm able to push myself to the limits of my hip joints and aerobic endurance (okay, I admit I'm really out of shape) and my feet still feel fine.No knee pain, either.
I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for an above-average walking shoe. I've had problems in the past with fascia and knee pain due to insufficient padding and shock absorption, but these shoes are great, and prevent those problems for me. I'd buy them again at double the price I paid.
* Update Nov. 2010: the photo appears to have been changed on this page to a shoe that is similar but not identical to the one I own.I don't know if that's because the style was updated or there was some other change.
Update Dec. 2010: I have purchased the current year's styling of this shoe, again in wide, and again the shoe is tight through the balls of the feet.Otherwise, it seems to be of the same high quality construction as my first purchase.I would also add that both of my purchases had blue Reebok logos; the current photo shows a pink logo.
